But at the core, the numbers make no sense. A woodshop require hardwood to make bows and shield and it can produce level 5 weapons. Wood cost barely any money but the weapons produced by it can sell for over 100k. Workshops are nearly useless. Caravans are barely any better. The only real way to make money is through war (selling equipment) or being lucky enough to own a major city. I've had one game since the beginning which has survived every patch. I make $3-4k a day simply by owning 1 city. I also have 2 castles but they are a loss/break even.

Having a full garrison does make the AI more likely to besiege easier targets. Also besieging enemy fiefs also seem to draw groups of nobles and armies away from sieging. But yeah, I hear you. Having a garrison can free up a little time/space. Also garrison helps security, which in turn helps productivity of the fief.

Historically, countries that lost wars had to pay tribute to the victor to save their own ass. This seems reasonable, you took their cities and if you make peace those cities will stay with you. With war they have a chance to take them back. You should pay tribute to them to keep those cities. #4.
Also i would recommend getting mods for bannerlord. Since its early access it is missing some really cool stuff and many more things arent even implemented properly (perks etc.) I personnaly use these mods which arent gamebreaking by any means. They are really fun, make sense and keep the game realistic.

Just resist the urge to keep upgrading your troops to max tier. A top tier soldier gets twice the wage of a mid-tier but is not twice as powerful.

The game makes sure that every lord gets one fief when they join a faction, and the player is no exception. It may take a little while, but your liege will grant you your very own fief. One way to make consistent cash is to set up a profitable Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord workshop. After the player completes these orders, more ones will appear a few days later. Odd the game is called Bannerlord, yet no banner can be seen throughout the gameStill applicable for the most part. Some changes, but really, not much.Tit Have lots of money (a few million). Have a enough income to cover your expenses. This is also a good time to let that main quest expire because it is fubar. You can create a kingdom without that crappy banner. Yeah, at the moment I've 4 groups, 5 castels and 3 cities, but I think at this point that I lack in money, being at 400K coins. Here's another way to make money in Mount and Blade 2, as long as your stock doesn't get pilfered. Bannerlord workshop: Make easy money. Making money trading is simple economics: Buy low and 8rA6s.
