Startstop on my 2018 Stelvio sometimes works the way it should. Other times the stop/start just doesn't work. That's the way I prefer it to be. It might work when the light is either on or off. Seems to not shut off at all when button light is on. Not original battery. One year old H8 replacement battery.

Whenit gives low output, it can cause an auto start/stop failure. Had to sign off on the replacement of one when I was a sales manager at a dealership. Was about $150 IIRC. Followingthe first weeks of being a proud Alfa owner, things slowly changed. Checkengine, auto stop start lit and horrible misfiring. This happens normally on cold mornings. After a while once the engine warms up i turn the car off and back on again and it usually all clears. Had the car from the Alfa dealer 5 months just. Does anyone / has anyone experienced this or know what might be causing the issue.

Check engine light came on along with the auto start stop not working, Brought it in to the dealer just told that it'd the charcoal canister needs to be replaced, seems strange to me with only 6100 miles on the car. Never heard of replacing this canister on any car.
